All the SEOs from every planet know that Google hates SPAM, but what is spam? We know Google does not like irrelevant links on your site, but what if I have a very high quality site link on my blog/site? Is that spam? I personally feel its not spam. Google says that you should not add lots of links to your site/blog which are irrelevant to your site’s topic. They also say that buying and selling of links is a big NO NO and sites will get penalized for doing it. On the other hand they also want backlinks to rate your site high. In this world of competition and lots of search engine optimization, do you think you got a chance to place a free link on any good quality site? I dont think so and I believe thats the truth. There might be ways to get backlinks from other sites if you have a nice article or post on your site…..but again what if I get backlinks from 1000s of crappy sites? Should I be penalized? Well, we all know the answer…dont we?
Now lets take Google’s suggestion in a positive way. When we link to bad sites with not much information or stolen content, Google bot will have to follow the link on our site and index it as well. This not only fill up Google’s box with loads of spam but also might give people bad results on Google search which will make people lose faith in Google search. WOW!!! Google is so right.
All said and done. We respect Google’s suggestion! But what is Google doing? Haven’t we already heard of ‘Death of AdSense’ and how publishers are getting low paying clicks? Who are these advertisers? They are nothing but MFA sites. MFA sites are ‘Made for AdSense’ sites which have a very less, stolen content with their pages filled with AdSense ads. These guys are AdWords users paying Google for their crap. Google should review all these advertisers and ban them not only from their program but also from search results. If Google can make money with these SPAM sites, then MR. Google let us webmasters also make some money our way!!!
