Google to take over YouTube

Recently, I came across a thread on digitalpoint which says Google is going to take over YouTube. Its Google’s step to stop other competitors from taking over such a huge online videos website. Google would be planning to merge YouTube with Google Videos. Now that would be quite interesting. People will have a single site where they can search for videos and also upload their own. Lot of guys upload videos to YouTube to get advertisement to their site. This would also help Google in Google AdSense Video Ads in a way. Google has this huge setup & money to buy YouTube. As per the rumor zone, Google is paying around 1.5 - 2 Million Dollars for YouTube. I am looking forward at this Google deal which will result in the biggest Video hub on the Internet. You think Microsoft or Yahoo will be able to beat this?
