As we all know that Pakistan is in emergency rule headed by their President and Military chief Pervez Musharraf. I don’t think any media people are allowed to shoot or roam around the roads. There has been a rumor that is spreading everywhere which can be a great risk to the world especially to neighboring countries like India. The rumor says that the emergency has been announced to divert the attention of Pakistan Military. It is being said that the Talibans have entered Pakistan and are just a few hours away from Islamabad. This news is really frightening as of now but there are no official comments over it.

President George Bush has already warned the Pakistan President to have elections as usual and take his uniform off. Here is the latest news via NDTV.

In a latest development, British Foreign Minister David Miliband issued a statement saying that its time for President Musharraf to be absolutely clear that elections will go ahead on January 15th.

He further said that Musharraf should also clarify that he would resign as the head of the Army by November 15th and all political prisoners will be released and restrictions on the media will be lifted.

A few days ago NDTV told the world that one of the most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim has been arrested in Pakistan but that news landed nowhere. Lets hope this news is also just a rumor. We don’t want the Talibans to form a big base in Pakistan.
