Bad Show Team India

Yet another day of cricket where every Indian would be disappointed. After a splendid performance from the bowlers yesterday everyone thought we have a chance to win this one. But the aussies thought otherwise (they always do, dont they?) and thats the reason why they are the no.1 team. I loved the way wicket keeper Haddin and Andrew Symonds appealed for Harbhajan’s wicket. It was a wrong decesion but their spontaneous reaction made the umpire believe there was an edge. That wicket reminded me of Ian Healy and Shane Warne…they were masters in getting such wickets, appealing and putting the batting team under immense pressure.

As far as team India goes I feel alot of them played like dumb people. Dhoni should have not played the shot of a bouncer…it wasnt really needed. Why was Dinesh Mongia taking singles and exposing tail enders when we had lots of balls and very few wickets left? Why was R. P Singh taking singles of the last ball of the over when Dinesh Mongia on the other end was playing good with 50+ runs scored already. Indian cricket team has always been a mystery with such a selection committee. Dhoni, Sehwag, Yuvraj & Kaif should actually spend some time on learning how to handle such match situations rather than shooting for Ad films. They all are good players but whats the use when you dont deliver when its required?
