Time to Boycott Wikipedia

Yea. we know it all by now. Wikipedia has kinda ruling the Internet world. All information they have is real and is “NOT” copied from any other site. WOW!!! even if you challenge their content, they will provide you with articles and news published on other websites. We all live in this world surrounded by media where people die to post rumors, shocking news and gossips to make their channel a big hit and maye to earn extra $$$$.. cough!!! cough!!!!

I myself have been engaged in fighting with wikipedia editors over content “they feel” is real and have references but I know these guys personally and everything written about them is fake.

Wikipedia talks of reliable source. Is there anything reliable in today’s world? I don’t think so. People publish articles left, right & center without even thinking of the consequences.

Producing wrong material is a different story but now wikipedia has gone a step forward in stealing content and claiming it to be their owns. A recent post at webmasterworld shows how people are frustrated about this content stealing by wikipedia. Webmasters are asked to file a legal complaint and fight over such issues. Do we have time, money and resources to fight over such issues? The bottom line is STOP GIVING WIKIPEDIA the importance it has been getting till date.

From stealing SE results to publishing fake and stolen content…Wikipedia has done it all and its time to stop trusting it. All we black, white and Grey hat SEOs know how to do it already ;)
