Weekend at Hyderabad

I spent my last weekend at Hyderabad and trust me its an amazing place. People are very nice and helpful. Places I visited include Ameerpet, Begumpet, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Husain Sagar, Old Hyderabad and a couple more I do not remember. I happened to visit this amazing place called Husain Sagar. There is this huge lake between nice lights and road which reminds of Band Stand in Bandra, Mumbai.  The only difference is that Band Stand is at a Sea wheras Husain Sagar is at a Lake. There are good restaurants around where you can sit and chill out. We had our dinner at this amazing restaurant called Water Front. Its hard to find such a place in Mumbai. The food is too good, yes it is a bit expensive but definitely worth it. The restaurant has an indoor as well as outdoor seating. We chose the outdoor seating as it was not that cold and there was a nice breeze flowing across. Below is the pic of the outdoor seating at Water Front. Trust me its a lot better than what is seen in the picture.

Water Front Hyderabad

There are a few things I did not like about Hyderabad.

1. The break fast items in Hyderabad are not like Mumbai. They have very few varieties and the usage of oil is too high.

2. Your final order in a bar has to be 10.30 PM. No drinks will be served after 10:30 PM.

3. Final order for food has to be placed at 11.00 PM. No food is served after 11.00 PM.

Now this is really bad as compared to Mumbai where the dinner starts at 10.30 - 11.00 PM. Apart from this, I had a nice time at Hyderabad.
