Recently I got to know about a new exciting thing, courtesy - Digitalpoint Forums. I am now able to get my money from Paypal directly deposited to my bank. No!!! Paypal is not offering this service but it’s done by Xoom. All you need is a verified Paypal account and a Xoom account.
How does it work:
1. Create a Xoom account and login to it.
2. Click on Send Money on top and fill in all the details.
3. Select direct Bank Deposit on the options screen and fill in your bank details. (Do not select any other option if the sender and receiver both are in India).
4. Click continue and select payment method as Paypal.
5. They will automatically take you to the paypal screen where you can login and thats it.
6. The amount gets directly deposited in your account within few hours or 2-4 days only for a minimum charge of about $8
Now this is much faster than how it worked earlier. It takes a minimum of 20 days for me to receive my Paypal cheque in Mumbai. No more waiting & no more worries of waiting so long for the money. Xoom your money today!!!

Good News… Need to check this out..

You don’t see Google ads here?
Hey does this work with HDFC bank in India?
Hey i checked it out. This is a great feature but the people at XOOM are clearly cheating you with your money. Actually today i requested a cheque of 500$ from Paypal. I googled today’s exchange rates and it showed me 1USD = 40.90INR. But paypal showed it as 1USD = 40.60INR. That amounts to 150 rupees difference on 500$. I dint have any option but to request the amount they offered. But after reading this post i was surprised to see that people over at XOOM showed the exchange rate as 1USD = 39.7INR. now this is cheating. If i request 500$, they’re giving me 500 rupees less!
Yes, rates at xoom are low,
